Le Su in Hamburg

The staff is totally rude and disrespectful. The first and last time. Never again !

Delicious. Just to be able to make a reservation, communication would have to be improved a bit. Roof top food and service were great.

Delicious food!

First of all: we didn't pay for our food. But only because we insisted. I would have loved to say that we really enjoyed the food. It was like that. Unfortunately, we only realized at the end that the bread basket, from which we had eaten eagerly, contained moldy bread. As an excuse we heard that it could be natural for the bread to mold in the heat. I wonder what is still moldy in this shop because of the heat? And I wonder why you don't chill food when it's so warm ... Definitely NOT a recommendation. Dealing with criticism leaves much to be desired.

Nice service. Food was ok. Had the mezze plate for 2 people. 4 dips, 2 salads and various fried side dishes, unfortunately cold dough patties. For dessert there was the parfait that was highly praised by the host. Unfortunately, a bitter disappointment, hard frozen and the taste only made of fat cream. Overall, a somewhat disappointing idea. It was better.

We found the food really good. A nice mix of the different country kitchens. The staff was attentive.

GERMAN The Le Su in the Hamburger Langen series is for the food offered felt a bit too high priced, which is certainly due to the exposed location. The Le Su sees itself in the broader sense in the Mediterranean lifted - this may partly true, but I felt it from the decor over the food but rather like an authentic purely Lebanese restaurant. The service as well as the chef were very friendly and the ordered food was quickly on the table. Striking for me was the background noise - it was a bit loud, especially the handling of plates & Co in the kitchen open to the kitchen could have happened more restrained. On the recommendation of the cook I had ordered the mixed plate to get a good impression of what the Le Su has to offer. I found the selection very interesting and in detail: • The sesame falafel were delicious - but a bit too dry for me • The minced meatballs were delicious too - but unfortunately way too cold • The lamb chop from the pan surprised me, it was despite the lack of charcoal grill -suitably delicious and flavorful • The humus was top and refined with pomegranate - a good idea • The Burghul (Bulgur) was OK • The served bread unfortunately not really warm • Unfortunately, the typical parsley salad lacked the lemon as well as salt and oil - it is absolutely necessary to taste it before serving • Unfortunately, thyme potatoes were served instead of the advertised coriander potatoes - a pity, but with an announcement • Apparently, one has in the meantime adjusted to the visitors who can not afford coriander • The salad served was conspicuously well-seasoned, unlike the parsley salad For this I had ordered an Australian wine - with 16.5 euros for 0.5 l a little expensive - but after he got temperature, very tasty. My conclusion The prices at Le Su are a little too high for me - especially with regard to the wines. The choice in the dishes consists mainly of the same or similar dishes in different composition - here I would like to have a greater culinary diversity. The taste was a bit of an "up and down", some really tasted great - other rather average to unloving. Here, more line must be brought in to consistently delicious, fresh and, above all, also warm food. The ambience at Le Su I liked, only the unpleasant volume was inappropriate and also avoidable. The Le Su has a simple website with contact form - unfortunately not yet "https", which, if it stays that way, can soon lead to costs due to warnings - this should be corrected as soon as possible - who uses the contact form should be sure that no third party can get the information.

Great restaurant with incredibly friendly staff! The food was delicious and the dessert especially. Here it is really cozy. I'd like to come back when I'm around!

The food was okay, prices were astronomical, for the price the food was actually unacceptable. In addition, rarely experienced such a rude service. If I read other reviews here, I would look in the place of the owner for a new operation - and if the operation is the owner I would change the profession - possibly the post office in the GDR. Great good, fair price

The only reason we stopped was because we were hungry and it was late, and other places were full. The negative reviews are right - the old blond waitress is rude and makes you feel like you're doing her a favor to eat their bland, tasteless, overpriced food. The rice was old and the lamb dish was barely warm. At least the lamb was tender. Not worth 15 euros. And they only take cash, as we were abruptly told. Definitely not worth it, go to one of the many other restaurants on the street.

The food was really, really good, but the owner (at least I guess she was) was in the beginning very rude. We even had to change the table to make room for two men. At the end she became friendlier.

Very good restaurant - good location, good staff very friendly very attentive- special orders were not a problem! Rich menu - what more could you want!

Value for money is a complete fool! We paid for a falafel plate € 14.90 and there were really only two falafel on it. I have not experienced anything like that. For a chick-pea-feta salad 12,50 € with 4 thin slices of cheapest sheep's cheese (real feta is something else) and 2 spoonfuls of chickpeas. That was pure iceberg salad. For a shop on the Langen range, you may need to spend a little more money, but if you save so much on the products, you'll just be in a bad mood. At first glance, the plates look very attractive, everything is nicely done and it tastes good, but the crowd has tried to fill the plates with cheap basics and give only a hint of the actual dish. 35 € for nothing! Then rather a salad on the stone dam.

Mega delicious and friendly service. Simply by the appetizers test, because you can not go wrong. Eggplants with goat cheese are the hammer and the meatballs super spicy and fluffy tender. The wine was also helped, we were allowed to taste several wines, before we decided on a bottle. So service has to be.

First of all it sais Oriental, but still confused of to where these dishes would come from. The presentation is kind of tossed together, theres no taste, and consuming alot of oil which is unnecessary. I already feel full just because of the greasy oil mixed with the drenched salad dressing.. Not appealed,the prices are "ok" but I have found cheaper and way better quality and care in Hamburg..the workers are nice though

Absolutely amazing ! Köfte melt in the mouth, crunchy but inside soft and tasty falafel, great salad with marinated chickpeas, the parsley salad with a honey note! The plate image of the hammer The tabuleh refined !! Every dish on the plate a new experience! Gladly again!!

They will go out of their way to make you hate this restaurant and easily let you walk away instead of serving you. Refuse to give into customers wishes. Not very vegan friendly. Kind of expensive.

Madness! Incredibly delicious Turkish-Lebanese fiusion cuisine. Everything had so much taste and so many flavors! A must!

We ordered the platter for 2 the first time around, +really good flavours and +decent portions With the rest of the dishes, -they were definitely pricey and a little low on portions. -the in house wine was pricey and not really good Get the platter and you'll be good, our second round was disappointing without it.

Prices: For 2 people plus drinks we were still under 45 €. Lunch is cheaper;) What can I say, it tastes good! Actually very good. Occasionally there were maybe 1-3 parts that weren't really our taste, but otherwise it was very spicy and a taste explosion! And even if it doesn't seem like it: we were full afterwards! Conclusion: I think these are the first 5 * that I distribute;) A bit more upscale but the quality is convincing! So far the most delicious falafel I've come across!

Ran to this place in a rain shower and was surprised at how good it is. Great value for money!

Best falafel far and wide! Very cozy little restaurant where you can not only relax in the evening, but also get a very good offer at lunchtime.

Incredibly rude and arrogant. Would rather lose customers than speak a LITTLE English. Hope he knows that St. George is a tourist attraction.

Delicious oriental food.

Long story short: a bit expensive but very tasty & cozy

I decided to visit this place as it always looked interesting since I have passed by it quite a few times. At first this place looks nice and maintained but adventure starts when you order food. We order a platter for two for 25 €. The menu stated that you get six different type of salads in a bowl, instead they served us in tiny cups which is usually used for serving dips. The food by itself tasted good but quantity was appalling for 25 € ! Along with the food I also ordered juice which costed us dear 4.50 € for a normal glass and mind you, its nothing organic. The quality is just as normal as at other places. We came out of restaurant hungry which is worst thing after footing 33 € for two drinks and one platter. Bottom line: I would not recommend this place since they just fork out money for minuscule quantity and to add salt to injury, waitress laughed off when we told this to her. Never again !
